Night of Museum 2026 turns Budapest into one huge cultural festival, with museums, galleries and historic sites open late, special programmes, concerts and guided tours—all accessible with a single wristband for one night only.
From May 15, Vasarely 120 exhibition is open to the public at the Museum of Fine Arts, where you can see more than 140 works of art, as well as documents and previously unknown photos and films.
On May 16th and 17th, the Hungarian National Museum will organize the 29th Museums Festival, in which 104 institutions from all over the country will participate. Those interested can expect walks in the museum garden, family programs and concerts.
