Itinerary
- Boarding (5 minutes): Step aboard and get comfortable. Our crew will greet you and help you get settled.
Audioguide Setup (a few minutes): Scan the QR code to access our audioguide, available in 25 languages. (Please bring your own smartphone and headphones.) The crew is happy to help you find the code and start the guide. - Cruising (50 minutes): Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as we pass Budapest’s most iconic sights. You can grab a drink or snack from the cocktail bar while listening to the fascinating stories through the audioguide.
- Disembark (5 minutes): We return to the dock — take a few last photos before stepping ashore.

Cancellations
Cancellation & Refund Policy: You may cancel up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund or credit. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the start time receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable. If we cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or credit. To cancel or inquire about a cancellation, please call us by phone. No-shows are charged the full rate. All timeframes refer to the program’s scheduled start time (local time).
FAQ
Do I need to book a specific time for my cruise?
No — your ticket is open-ended! You don’t have to choose a time slot. Boats run every 20 minutes from 12:00 to 21:00, and you can simply arrive at Vigadó Dock 6, show your ticket, and board the next available boat.
During the day, boarding is usually immediate. Between 18:00 and 21:00, short queues are common — it’s our busiest period — but don’t worry! If it gets crowded, we add extra boats every 15 minutes.

Where does the cruise depart from?
From Vigadó Dock 6, located on the Pest side of the Danube, at Jane Haining rakpart, near Vigadó Square — right in central Budapest.
How long is the cruise?
The cruise lasts about 1 hour, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the city’s landmarks from the water.

How does the audio guide work?
Our audio guide is available via QR code. You’ll need your own smartphone and earbuds or headphones to listen. Once on board, our staff will happily show you where to find the QR codes and help you start the guide in your preferred language.
What if it rains?
Our cruises run rain or shine! The boats are fully covered, heated, and air-conditioned, so you’ll stay comfortable. If you’d like to step outside for photos, just wear weather-appropriate clothing.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! The sightseeing cruise is great for families — kids love spotting the bridges, castles, and boats on the river.
Can I bring my dog?
No — dogs and other pets are not allowed on board.
