Brilliant Melodies from The Darkness: Duran Duran to Perform in Budapest
The legendary Duran Duran will perform on the stage of the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena on June 28, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
World-famous singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is returning to Budapest with his Roll with the Punches tour, and in addition to songs from his latest album, he will also perform his greatest hits - organizer Live Nation told MTI on Friday.
One of Canada's most famous musicians has sold more than a hundred million records during his career spanning almost five decades, toured on all six continents (he was the first Western musician to perform in Pakistan or Vietnam, for example), and topped the charts in more than forty countries.
He has released sixteen studio albums so far, the first in 1980 and the most recent last year. His biggest hits include Summer of '69, (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, Heaven, Straight from the Heart, Please Forgive Me and Shine A Light with Ed Sheeran. His songs have been covered by such renowned artists as Joe Cocker, Bonnie Tyler, Kiss and Tina Turner, with whom he even sang a duet. He has also worked with Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Sting and Rod Stewart.
Bryan Adams has been nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his film scores, and has won a Grammy once, in 1992 for the song (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, although he has been nominated for a Grammy sixteen times. He has also written songs for the cartoon Braveheart and the musical What a Woman. He has received Canada's highest state honour, being inducted into the Music Hall of Fame, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
In 2024, Adams became an independent artist and founded his own record label, Bad Records. Since then, he has released two three-album box sets containing recordings of his concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall, bringing his total to six albums in just two years.
In August last year, he released his studio album Roll with the Punches, which is a mix of his signature anthemic rock, raw guitar riffs, and heartfelt songwriting, while pairing catchy songs with thought-provoking moments.
The Canadian star is also known as a photographer, and his photo album Exposed was released in 2012. He has taken pictures of the English royal family, had a good relationship with the late Lady Diana, and also photographed the tragic Amy Winehouse.
Bryan Adams will perform at the MVM Dome in Budapest on December 16. For more information, visit BryanAdams.com.
