We are pleased to announce tha t Loreena McKennitt will return to Hungary as part of her 30-stop European tour. The world-famous Canadian singer and songwriter will perform in Bud apest on March 19\, 2027\, at the Papp Lá\;szló\; Budapest Spo rtaré\;na\, where she will bring a special concert of The Mask and M irror anniversary tour to the Hungarian audience.
\nThe Mask and Mir ror -30th anniversary tour starts on February 22\, 2027 in Groningen\, the Netherlands\, and ends on April 3 in Paris\, France. During the tour\, sh e will also perform in Germany\, Poland\, Hungary\, Austria\, Switzerland\ , Belgium and the United Kingdom.

\nThe spr ing concert series is the third leg of the anniversary tour\, which pays t ribute to the album The Mask and Mirror\, released in 1994. This album is considered one of the defining milestones of Loreena McKennitt's career\, which combines musical influences from different cultures in a special way : Celtic\, Spanish and Moroccan sounds are woven into a unique unity.
\ nUpon its release\, the Los Angeles Times described the album as "music with a deeply somber mood\, full of spiritual longing and ancient echoes. " The album has sold over two million copies worldwide.

\nThe second leg of the tour will take p lace in eastern Canada in the fall of 2026\, starting in Moncton\, New Bru nswick on October 13 and ending in Montreal on November 2. \nThe first half of the concert will feature popular songs\, whil e the second half will feature the entire album\, in its original order. M cKennitt will be joined by a distinguished group of musicians: Caroline La velle (cello)\, Brian Hughes (guitar)\, Hugh Marsh (violin)\, Dudley Phill ips (bass) and Robert Brian (drums).
\nLoreena McKennitt&rsquo\;s di verse\, Celtic-inspired music\, which blends elements of pop\, folk and wo rld music\, has sold over 14 million albums worldwide. Her recordings have been certified gold\, platinum and multi-platinum in 15 countries on four continents.
